Context Development: Positioning a condo developer as the industry pacesetter
Winning an outsize share of press coverage for our client
We helped position condominium developer Context Development as leading-edge and won it more editorial press coverage than many larger players in this intensely competitive industry.
While interviewing Howard Cohen, Context’s President, I learned that he had been among the first to hire architect Peter Clewes of architects—Alliance, who pioneered the slender, elegant glass point tower, which quickly because the fashionable condo style.
As well, Context exhibited urban sensitivity by consulting with neighourhood residents to overcome potential opposition. For instance, the podium of Market Wharf sensitively integrates a Shoppers Drug Mart retail store; Library District incorporates a public library as if it were another building amenity.
We procured lengthy profiles of Cohen and Context in National Post and Building magazine, created Context’s corporate marketing brochure and won press hits for their Context King West, Library District, Market Wharf, and Radio City condo projects in:
